Building Biology Conference 2018, Rosenheim Germany, 7th-9th June
From 7th June to 9th June the International Building Biology Conference 2018 organised by the IBN (Institut for Building Biology) will take place in Rosenheim (Germany) near Munich.
Building Biology is about the interrelationships between people and their build environment – it is about our impact on the environment and how the build environment impacts on us. For more than 40 years the IBN has been leading in the field of healthy and sustainable building design.
Under this years topic ‘Building Biology Agenda 2025 – turning visions into reality’ more than 300 delegates from around the globe including construction professionals and medical professionals will meet to discuss the latest research in healthy, sustainable building design. This years event will also be open to the public on the 8th and 9th June.
Delegates will have the opportunity to discuss and help shape the future of Building Biology together with an impressive line up of international speakers.
SE3D’s Tomas Gaertner, who is also a founding director of the BBA (Building Biology Association), will be speaking at the conference and representing the UK. The BBA is an independent non-profit organisation aiming to promote education in healthy building design and the UK Partner of the IBN. In April the BBA helped to organise the first series of seminars in the UK to compliment the IBN’s Building Biology Course, a one year distance learning course focusing on the health and ecological impacts of modern buildings and how these can be avoided.
